These are actual unaltered digital photos of  HDTV programs  shown on my 9 month old Panasonic HD Plasma Screen TV, Model TH42PX50U. The signal is from an HD Broadcast on my Satellite Receiver. I purchased the TV new from Sears and they sent a contractor repair service to look at it. The authorized agent of the TV Doctor Audio Video TV Repair located in Swainsboro Georgia was sent to look at the TV. The technician looked at it on October 4 and observed exactly what is shown in the following still photos I took of the TV screen while he was here. In fact, the 3rd photo was taken with only the TV Repairman's Signal Generator connected to the TV input, confirming that the problem is the TV itself, as opposed to poor connections, bad satellite signal, bad satellite receiver, etc... I am still waiting on them to obtain permission and parts from Panasonic to repair the TV. This webpage is being posted only for showing the conditions observed and described by phone to the Panasonic representative. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and these pictures should help them determine what course of action needs to be taken. Note that the color of the stripes change depending on background color, and are visible with some background colors. The stripes do no move. They are very uniform and consistent in size and location. The stripes are about 1/16" wide, spaced about 1/2" apart, in groups of four, with about 2" between each group of 4 stripes.

The next four images are from the TV without my Sat Receiver or Sound System connected, just a DVD Player connected to the Video 1 Terminals.

Text Box: This is a close-up of the bottom right corner of the screen, with about 1/4 of the screen shown here.
